Michal Skoda is the Brewery director of Pivovar Proud. Proud is a new microbrewery project within the macro-brewery of Plzensky Prazdroj, the historic Plzen brewery and home of Pilsner Urquell. Michal’s passion is beer, and he has been working in the beer industry since he finished at university. Working in the marketing department, Michal has been part of the team who has overseen the rapid expansion of Pilsner Urquell to thirsty pub goers in Romania. This wasn’t enough to quench his thirst for beer. Home-brewing and exploring craft beer in Czech and abroad is his hobby not only his day job. And now he is living his dream becoming a brewery director dedicated to the creating high-quality craft beers. We’re very PROUD to have with us today on PODCAST PIVO a man who has devoted his life to great beer.
